This is especially important for children. At the same time, during the breakdown, honey is not deposited on the sides and other problematic parts of the body in the form of excess fat.

  • Honey is an excellent natural antiseptic, and if you regularly take it on an empty stomach after waking up in the morning, it will prevent the development of gastritis with high or low acidity, cholecystitis and pancreatitis. Descending through the gastrointestinal tract, honey destroys pathological bacteria and microbes, and also helps to tighten damaged areas of the gastric mucosa.
  • Honey copes well with colds. It is usually combined with milk in the ratio of one tablespoon of honey per glass of warm milk or with freshly squeezed lemon juice in the ratio of 100 grams of honey per juice from half or a whole lemon.

Many people have used such a medicine as radish with honey since childhood, which is excellent for coughs. The wound is disinfected, which increases cell nutrition and has a detrimental effect on microbes, streptococcal and staphylococcal bacilli, etc. In the form of a cosmetic product for evening washing, you can use honey water (1 tablespoon of honey diluted in 2 glasses of warm water). Such water makes the skin silky and smoothes out fine wrinkles. In combination with some ingredients, honey acts on the skin as additional nutrition and hydration.

How much honey should you eat per day

For preventive purposes, it is advisable for an adult to eat 60-100 grams of honey per day, dividing this amount into 4-6 doses. For children, this dosage should be halved.

A teaspoon of honey mixed in 100 grams of warm water is the best start to an active day. This honey drink should be consumed on an empty stomach half an hour before breakfast, before hygienic brushing of teeth.
