It is very important to give yourself a positive impulse from the very moment you wake up. The mood with which a person performs morning rituals often determines the tone of the entire working day. Drive away bad thoughts and smile at your reflection in the mirror. Our body has muscle memory, so cheerful facial expressions can tune the subconscious to an optimistic perception of reality.

On the way to work, stop your gaze at friendly, attractive faces, and you yourself will feel the desire to look friendly to others. At any time of year, enjoy the beauty of awakening nature, bright shop windows or pleasant company. If the weather is especially gloomy and your mood is spoiled by something, use your imagination. Imagine that the people at the bus stop are characters from the fairy tale "Under the Mushroom", and the subway passengers are penguins floating on a tight ice floe. In addition, a selection of music that is pleasant to listen to on the road can dispel bad thoughts.

At the workplace

It is very useful to come to work 5-10 minutes earlier to slowly assess your place from the point of view of convenience: wipe the dust, prepare tools or writing materials, water the houseplants, and collect fresh water for yourself.

Work ceases to bring pleasure when all days pass the same way. The same tasks, actions and people cause despondency and boredom. To change the situation, set your own long-term goal, then break it down into stages and set a time for the implementation of each of them. If a new day brings you closer to your cherished dream, then vigor and cheerfulness will appear. Review your plans monthly, track your progress and adjust the complexity of the task.

If, on the contrary, you are depressed by the thought of a large amount of work, you should start a diary in which tasks are ranked by urgency and importance. In the first half of the day, it is advisable to complete the most difficult and responsible tasks (important calls, business meetings, writing a report). After the lunch break, you can move on to small daily duties. Mark the completion of each step with a tick. This will add confidence that nothing is overlooked, and will help you feel satisfaction and pride in the work done.

One of the most depressing moments is considered to be an unhealthy atmosphere in the team. Do not support conversations in which colleagues complain about their profession, management or personal life, discuss acquaintances, envy them. Remember that absolutely every job has positive and negative sides. Focus on the good, surround yourself with positive people who know how to enjoy the little things and achieve their goals.

Psychologists note that a person works much more enthusiastically and efficiently when he or she realizes the benefits of their work. Office workers sometimes think that their work is useless and empty, unlike doctors and firefighters. Therefore, remember the meaning of your profession, imagine the people you have helped.

New responsibilities taken voluntarily and bringing in additional income are also a source of inspiration and fresh vitality. Such changes will breathe life into monotonous everyday life, invigorate and make you look at your work from a different angle.

To improve work productivity, you need to take short breaks every hour. Just do not turn them into smoke breaks or drink coffee every time you get up from your workplace. It is much more useful to stretch your muscles a little, do eye exercises, drink some water. Have lunch and snacks in another room to distract yourself as much as possible and enjoy your meal.

The main reason for going to work is your salary. Think about how much money you earn every day, what you could lose if you didn’t have this activity. Make a bright collage of the things you dream about, and tell yourself that you can earn money for each such purchase yourself.

In the evening, don’t rush time - this will take away your last strength. It’s better to clean up your workspace, mentally praise yourself for everything you’ve managed to do, make a rough plan for the next day, think about an upcoming meeting with your family. Train yourself to forget about work as soon as you leave the office, don’t think about it at home during dinner or talking with your family. To do this, create a simple ritual (changing into comfortable clothes, washing or taking a shower). Having learned to delineate areas of activity, you can increase labor productivity at work and relax and recover as much as possible at home.
